Flame Arrester<\/strong> is a safety device installed on tanks and along transfer lines to, in the event of flame or fire occurrence, reduce temperature and divide the flame into smaller streams.
\nUsing this device in lines and tanks containing flammable fluids is essential.<\/p>\n

Flame arresters extinguish or stop the advancing flame by absorbing its heat. The flame heat is absorbed inside a metallic mesh element.
\nThe overall dimensions and passage sizes of this element are determined based on factors such as gas composition, temperature, and allowable pressure drop across the device.<\/p>\n
